Beverly (Bev) Thompson

Mr. Beverly (Bev) Thompson, age 79 of Maysville, GA died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Northridge Medical Center. Mr. Thompson was born in Goodwater, AL to the late, Aldrich and Ada Bailey Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a retired Business owner of Bev Thompson Conveyor Company. Mr. Thompson was a member of Homer United Methodist Church, U.S Air Force Veteran, American Legion Post 215, Banks County Cattleman's Association, Member of the Banks County Board of Equalization, and Member of the Kiwanis Club.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Romayne Boshell Thompson of Maysville; daughter, Carol Lingerfelt of Maysville; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Harold Smith of Flowery Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Terry Thompson of New Jersey; brother, Clifford Thompson of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Flawdene Foy of Alexander City, AL and Susan Lloyd of Everett, WA; grandchildren, Sarah Plunkett, Sam Thompson, and Kevin Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Friday 2:00 PM from the Homer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim McLendon and Dr. David Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.
