Eugene Elrod Sr.,

Eugene Elrod Sr., age 78 of Dahlonega departed this life on August 21, 2011 at the Southern Crescent Hospital in Riverdale, GA. Bro. Elrod was born on January 28, 1933 and lived in Dahlonega all of his life. He retired from North Georgia College in 1989, where he worked for 35 years. Bro. Elrod joined Hickory Grove CME Church where he served faithfuly for many years. Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 from 7-8pm followed by the Funeral Services Saturday, August 27 at 2pm both at Hickory Grove CME Church, 69 Hickory Grove Road, Dahlonega.
