Hattie Bell Garrett

Hattie Bell Garrett, age 80, of Dahlonega, Ga. died August 24, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late William Garrett and Jenny Lynn Seitz Garrett. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Lomma Iwanski and Alice Davis.

She was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. Hattie was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Burlington Pine Tree plant in Dahlonega.

She is survived by nephews, Chuck Iwanski, John Iwanski Jr., Michael Iwanski, Ricky Iwanski, Bradley Davis, Dennis Davis and Timmy Davis; niece and husband, Susan and David Scarboro, all of Dahlonega.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Friday August 26, 2011 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Thursday August 25, 2011 from 1 PM until 9 PM and on Friday until the service time at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
