Amanda Sue Howard

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Amanda Sue Howard, age 87, of Jacksonville FL., formerly of Jefferson Ga. who passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011. Mrs. Howard was born in Jackson County Ga.

Mrs. Howard was the daughter of the late Geoffery Perry and Effie Cochran Tate. Mrs. Howard was retired from Duval County FL Educational system where she worked in the credit union department for a number of years.

Mrs. Howard was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband W.J. Howard and a sister Annette Skelton.

Survivors to Mrs. Howard her brother George Perry Tate (Barbara Jurelle) of Jefferson Ga.

Graveside Services will be Thursday August 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. J.B. Skelton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday August 24, 2011 at Evans Funeral Home.
