Frances Rozell Dodson

Frances Rozell Dodson, age 77, of Flowery Branch, passed peacefully to her new life and entered the gates of Heaven following an extended illness, on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Wayne Hicks will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 6-8 pm.

Mrs. Dodson was born October 26, 1933 in Heard County to the late Howard & Doshie Shelnut Cammon. She retired from Macklanburg-Duncan with 25 years of service and was a member of New Haven Congregational Holiness Church. Frances was a very Godly woman that really loved life and all those around her. She loved her husband, Lowell with all her heart and loved the years that she had with him.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lowell Quinton Dodson, her two brothers, Cramer Cammon and Wendall Cammon.

Survivors include; sons and daughter-in-laws Steve & Elaine Dodson of Flowery Branch, Stanley & Sandra Dodson of Greer, SC and Sammy & Jody Dodson of Flowery Branch, 5 grandchildren, Amy Dodson Smith, Trent Dodson, Michael Dodson, Bridget Dodson Spurlin and Jeremiah Dodson, 6 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Helen Cammon Nguyen and a number of nieces & nephews.
