David Glenn Holland

David G. Holland died August 18, 2011 at his home after a three year battle with cancer.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, August 22, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Gainesville, GA, with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Edward O'Conner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.
He was born in Buford, GA and graduated from South Hall High School in 1972. He also attended DeKalb College. David enlisted in the Marines and served for his country from December 1972 to December 1976. He was honorably discharged as a Sargent E-5. David worked as a corporate and physician recruiter for the last 23 years. He lived in Suwanee, GA with his wife and two children and has been married for the past 29 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. Holland and Agnes (Orr) Holland Strayhorn.
Survivors include wife, Angie Dubnik Holland; son, Nicolas (Cole) Holland; daughter, Chelsea Holland, all of Suwanee; brother, Allen Holland, Baldwin, GA.
