Bronnie Watson "Nana" Tench

Obituary Date: Friday, August 12, 2011
Bronnie Watson "Nana" Tench, age 47, of Dewy Rose, Georgia, went to her heavenly home to be with our Lord on Friday, August 12, 2011, after a long hard-fought battle with breast cancer.

Our precious wife and mother, was born in Doraville, Georgia on October 10, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Harvey H. and Bronnie Junita Jean Blair Watson. Bronnie's greatest desire in life was to serve her family and her Heavenly Father. She was called home sooner than we would have liked. Bronnie was known for her smile, kindness, her unconditional giving and love for her family and friends. Her sweet spirit never failed to bring joy to those around her. She adored her family, and that love was second, only to her love of the Lord, who now holds her hand. Bronnie was always there for her children and she spent the last waking hours of her life helping her wonderful husband. She would have had it no other way. Most importantly she will be remembered as a completely devoted wife and mother. Bronnie will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, who loved and cherished her, Douglas Lamar Tench, Dewy Rose, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Bronnie Amy Myrtice and Michael Marchman, Lawrenceville, GA; son, Douglas Wilson Adam Tench, Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughters, Bronnie Ariel Renee Marchman and Mary Hailee Tench, both of Lawrenceville, GA; grandson, Douglas Lamar Taylor Tench, Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Pamela Yvettea Watson, Melborn, Australia; brother and his wife, Joel and Charlotte Watson, Covington, GA; brother, James Watson, Jasper, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug and Mary Tench, Chamblee, GA; and a very special friend and caregiver Sheila Roberts.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from the Nancy Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 1685 Eighth Street, Chamblee, Georgia.
