LeRoy James Pickett

LeRoy James Pickett born on February 20, 1938 in Kimeo, Kansas passed away on August 10, 2011 in Flowery Branch, GA.

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch. Father Eric Hill will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery.

LeRoy spent four years in the Navy and then became an Engineer, Pilot and Truck Driver. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch, GA where he was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan & Florence Pickett; brothers, Marion & Don Pickett and daughter, Tammi Sue Garner.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Pat Pickett; son & daughter-in-law, Lee & Janet Garner III, son, Bruce Garner, son, Garrett Garner, daughter & son-in-law, Stacy & Eli Whitfield and their daughter, Alyssa; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Judy Pickett; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara & Andy Pellerito, sister & brother-in-law, Irene & Raul Serna; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
