Martha Mezick

Martha Mezick, 75, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday August 9, 2011 following an extended illness.

Born December 2, 1935 in Rabun County to the late Wesley and Lola Stubblefield, she lived in Dawson County for over 35 years having moved from Austell. Mrs. Mezick was a homemaker and member of Grace and Truth Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Wiley Mezick, Dawsonville; children, Linda Layson, Forest Park, Carl Ramey, Toccoa, Ernie Ramey, Dawsonville, Mark Ramey, Toccoa, Christy Fraley, Dahlonega, Kelly Mezick, Dawsonville; 25 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 13, 2011 at 2 o'clock at Grace and Truth Church. Rev. Jimmy and Linda Manders will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mr. Mezick to assist with cemetery expenses.
