Eugene "Gene" Ray, age 71 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
