Thomas Ed Culpepper

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Thomas Ed Culpepper 80 of Commerce. He was the son of the late Willie and Gertrude Hardy Culpepper. He was a retired carpenter and crane operator and was a charter member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Sara D. Culpepper of the home, daughter in law Julie Culpepper of Commerce, sister Belle Murray of Commerce, grandchildren Jeff (Michelle) Culpepper and Christy (Jason) Goldman, great grandchildren Sage Culpepper, Kane Goldman and Kaden Goldman.

In addition to his parents Mr. Culpepper was preceded in death by a son Mitchell Culpepper, a brother Bud Culpepper and a sister Willard Denham.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 PM from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Duncan and Rev. Scott Culpepper officiating and burial in the church cemetery.

The family is at the residence 998 Fort Lamar Road and will receive friends in the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 PM.
