Dorine Cash Greenway

Mrs. Dorine Cash Greenway, age 95 of Flowery Branch passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home in Flowery Branch. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville. Reverend Dave Channell will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch.

Mrs. Greenway was born to the late Jacob D. and Noda Hadaway Cash. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She was a special education teacher with the Hall County School System until her retirement in 1978. After retirement she taught the Sunshine Class at the Gainesville First United Methodist Church for 25 years. She was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church and the Ben Pethel Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her husband Garnett Franklin Greenway; brothers, Delbert Cash, & Louis Cash; sister, Viola Knight; son-in-law, Bobby Blanton; and daughter-in-law, Karen Greenway.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Frances & William Sexton of Hephzibah, GA, daughter, Anne Blanton of Eufala, AL, daughter & son-in-law, Jean & John Higginbotham of Avondale, AZ, son & daughter-in-law, Frank & Joann Greenway of Flowery Branch, GA and son & daughter-in-law, David & Marjie Greenway, Murrayville, GA; sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
