Troy Lee York

Mr. Troy Lee York, age 50, of Cleveland passed away Friday July 22, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. York was born in Habersham County, the son of the late Floyd and Mozelle Brock York. He was a truck driver for Grizzle Trucking.

Survivors include his wife Sherry Taylor York, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law Santana York and Bralin Dorsey, Michelle and Brandon Acres, Grace and Anthony Crumley, all of Cleveland; son Joshua York, Cleveland; grandchildren Hayden Acres and Xavier Dorsey, both of Cleveland; sisters Alice Thomas and Nina Dispain, both of Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law Connie and Lee Rice of Clarkesville and Floyiet and David Taylor, Cleveland; brothers and sisters-in-law Lloyd and Glenda York, Hank and Melissa York, all of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday July, 25, 2011 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Taylor, the Rev. Kenneth Taylor and the Rev. Marc Turner will officiate. Interment will be in the Taylor Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
