Graduate of Wacona High School and Massey School of Business.

Survived by:
Darling husband of 64 years,Rev. Vernon E. Grimes One son, Tommy Grimes (CeliaGrimes) of Mt Pleasant, SC

Two daughters, Margaret Grimes Bear (Beth Parker) Of Atlanta Ga and Lynda Carol Grimes Chambers of Mt Pleasant,SC

Four granddaughters Ashley Grimes Parker (Eric) Amie Grimes, Anna Chambers Masson (Jacob) and Bree Pattillo (Cal Abel) Four great grandchildren, Taylor & Logan Parker and Copeland and Zadie Abel.

Two sisters, Marie Cole of Marietta, GA and Evelene Darden of Tampa FL Two sisters in law Dozens of nieces and nephews And her Beloved Buttons.

She will always be fondly remembered as Vernon's Rock of Gebralta, This World Best Mother and Grandmother, Loving, Caring sister and aunt, Enthusiastic Pastor's Wife. Kindergarden Founder and Director, Sunday School teacher, Bible School Director, Youth Camp Founder and Director, Creator and Teacher of Crafts, Mother and Grandmother figure to literally thousands, and Living Example of God's Love.

She will be sorely missed by all who crossed her path.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 26, 2011 at 2:00pm at Riverbend Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Wade, Rev. Billy Long and Rev. Edmond Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday July 25, 2011 from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
