Spencer Ernest Balmer

Mr. Spencer Ernest Balmer, age 76, of Flowery Branch passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at his residence.

A private family memorial service will be held.

He was born to the late Ralph & Virginia Balmer in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada. He was an executive in the paper industry. He and his wife lived and worked on five continents during his long career. He was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Balmer, two brothers, Ralph and Marshall Balmer, and his sister, Rhene Balmer.

Mr. Balmer is survived by his wife, Lawanna Mobley Balmer; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie Balmer & Jean Plamondon of Noyan, Quebec, Canada; son & daughter-in law, Damon & Jennylynn Balmer of Fairfax, VA, son & daughter-in-law, Trevor & Patricia Balmer of Yoakum, TX, son, Kevin Balmer of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Tannika King of Rome, GA, Cynthia Rhodes of Italy, Sophia and Spencer Balmer of Yoakum, TX; sister, Faith Smith of Nova Scotia, Canada and several nieces and nephews.
