Willa Mae Rothman

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Willa Mae Rothman, age 91, of Nicholson, who passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Mrs. Rothman was born in Stephens, Arkansas, a daughter to the late Grady and Myrtie Crumpler Stewart. Mrs. Rothman was a member of the United Pentecostal Churches, Int. She was married to the late Rev. Walter Rothman for 67 years. They were very active in Home Missions in Gallup, NM, Espanola, NM and built the first U.P. C. church in Santa Fe, NM. Rev. Rothman served as minister of the United Pentecostal Churches, Int. for 63 years in Mew Mexico, Texas and Georgia, until his passing in September 2007 at the age of 91.

Survivors include daughters, Elaine Cathey and Rosie King both of Nicholson and Linda Nelson of Rhome, TX. 11 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11am at the Graveside in the Jefferson Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Rev. Gary Hosch will officiate and a visitation will be held from 10-11am Saturday morning at the funeral home, prior to the service.
