Jeanine Theriault

Jeannine Yvonne Sylvain Theriault, 77, died July 15, 2011 at her home in Sautee Nacoochee, GA, after a brief illness.

Born on June 7, 1934 in Fitchburg, MA to Joseph E. & Hermina Sylvain, she later moved to Connecticut and Florida. In 1997 she retired to
Hiawassee, GA where she was an active volunteer in the community, a member of the Towns County Lions Club, and a member of the Hiawassee United Methodist Church. She enjoyed participating in and creating costumes for 'His Last Days', the annual outdoor passion play in Tallulah Falls.

She was an avid reader who enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, son David R. Theriault and wife Martha of Winter Haven, FL; daughter Deborah A. Jones and husband Grady of Weaver, AL; and daughter Sheilah Welsch and husband Steve of Sautee Nacoochee, GA;
a brother, Mark J. Sylvain and wife Janice of Bartow, FL; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. & Hermina Sylvain; a brother, Albert J. Sylvain; and a sister, Rita C. Hough.

A Celebration of Life Service will be said in her honor at Nacoochee United Methodist Church, 1371 Hwy 17, Sautee Nacoochee, Ga. at 2:00pm on
Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011.
