Curtis Viola Evans Standridge

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Curtis Viola Evans Standridge, age 84, of Hartwell, GA, who passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2011. Mrs. Standridge was born in Banks County, a daughter to the late Fletcher and Elsie Mae Savage Evans. Mrs. Standridge was a retired Seamstress and was member of the Believers Baptist Church. Mrs. Standridge was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Geri Brittany Standridge, sisters Ola Mae, Mary, Ethel, brothers, Lee and Elton.

Survivors include her Husband, Rev. Luther Clyde Standridge, Hartwell, daughter, Carolyn Pointer, Lavonia, son, Luther Gerald Standridge, Jefferson, sister, Montine Davis, Jefferson, brothers, Alonzo Evans, Statham, Loyd Evans, Jefferson, Connie Lee Evans, Gulfport, MS, 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Barnes and Rev. Waymon Dotson officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park. The visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8pm at Strickland Funeral Home in Hartwell, GA. Visitation will also be held Saturday morning at Evans Funeral Home in Jefferson Ga. prior to the service.
