Collene M. Cox

Mrs. Collene M. Cox, 86 of Gainesville died Sunday July 10, 2011 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A life long resident of Hall County, Mrs. Cox was the daughter of the late William A. and Ida Mae Ashmore Cain. She was retired from State of Georgia/ Department of Revenue and was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Clermont.

Survivors include her brother, Horace Cain, Dahlonega; daughter, Suzanne Worack, Vero Beach, Fla.; sons, Len Clark and Danny Clark, both of Gainesville. grandchildren, Holly and Shannon Bradley, Gainesville; Laurie Clark, Columbia, South Carolina. great grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Brendan White and Cheyene Bradley, all of Gainesville.

Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by a son, Larry Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 13, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jon Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday July 12, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
