Betty Louise Bell

Betty Louise Bell, age 76, of Murphy, NC, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford. Betty is preceded in death by her daughters, Janice and Ann Bell; parents, Grady and Ina Mae Burkhalter; brothers, Larry and Bill Burkhalter; sisters, Virginia Cain and Hazel Payne and sister-in-law, Sarah Burkhalter.

Survivors include her husband, James Bell of Murphy, NC; son, Jerry Bell, of Murphy, NC; grandson, Jerry Bell Jr. of Murphy, NC; granddaughter, Janice Suzanne Bell of Buford, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Harry Burkhalter of Cumming, Bobby and Faye Burkhalter of Cumming; sisters, Doris Dunson of Dahlonega, GA, Joyce Blackburn of Washington, GA ; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.
