Wynette (Peggy) Fagan Dailey

Obituary Date: Saturday, July 2, 2011
Wynette (Peggy) Fagan Dailey of Cumming, GA passed away on July 2, 2011 at the age of 84, after a slow decline in heath. Peggy was a native Georgian. After graduation from Cumming High School in 1943; she began foreign missionary training at the Atlanta Bible College. At ABC she began to fulfill her lifelong dream to become a missionary, telling the children around the world about Jesus.

During her studies, she was introduced to a handsome Army veteran, Herb Dailey, who captured her heart. They were engaged in the spring of 1947 and committed their lives to each other on November 15, 1947, in Atlanta, GA.

After finishing classes, Wynette (Peggy) became a wife and loving mother who told her husband and three children about Jesus around their dinner table. Instead of going to the foreign mission field, God brought the mission field to her doorstep. She loved to tell the story of Jesus and how His love had the power to change lives. Her salvation story personally touched her family, neighbors, Sunday School Classes, Training Union, Vacation Bible School, Children's Ministries, traveling salesmen and hungry beggars who came to her backyard looking for work to make ends meet. No one left her house without a bite to eat and a copy of John 3:16 written on their brown paper sacks.

Peggy's Word of Testimony is found in Psalm 119:1-7, the map that guided and directed her path to God's Forever House on July 2, 2011. She is deeply loved and cherished by her children, family and friends.
