W. L. Harrison

W. L. Harrison, age 75 of Monroe, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, B. W. and Bertha Harrison; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Brenda Harrison.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lena Harrison of Monroe; children, Belinda Harrison of Cumming, Wanda and Greg Couey of Monroe, Cindy and Curtis Pettus of Monroe, Terry Harrison of Monroe; grandchildren, Christian Pettus of Monroe, Mary Kate Couey of Monroe; special great niece, Brandie Mobley of Monroe; special great great nephew, Desmen Smith of Monroe; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Roland Smith of Gainesville; aunt and uncle, Mattie Belle and Gurney Whitmire of Cumming; several other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 27th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin McPherson and Rev. Phillip McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
