Charles Russell Heaton

Mr. Charles Russell Heaton, 52 of Gillsville died Saturday June 25, 2011 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Hall County, Mr. Heaton was the son of the late Ed and Bessie Bruce Heaton. He was a member of the Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children; Charles Michael Heaton, Melissa Ann Heaton and Brittany and John Cochran, all of Florida. grandchildren; Alyssa Alexandria Revell, Hannah Raylyn Revell, Christian Michael Xavier Heaton, Aiden Alex Russell and Michael Wesley Cochran. sisters; Janis Goodson, Gillsville; Jacqueline Cheek, Gillsville; sister and brother-in-law; JoAnn and Mario Gonzales, Winder; brothers and sisters-in law; Samuel Junior and Marie Bruce, Maysville; Billy and Billie Jo Heaton, Gillsville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 28, 2011 at the Diamond Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Poole will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence, 5287 Emory Griffin Road, Gillsville, Georgia 30543.
