Dorothy M. "Dot" Eddy

Mrs. Dorothy M. "Dot" Eddy, 70 of Gainesville died Thursday June 23, 2011 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Cairo, Georgia, Mrs. Eddy had lived in Hall County since 1964. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse having worked for Lanier Park Hospital, Bell-Minor Nursing Home and a number of doctor's offices.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Eddy, Gainesville; daughter; Robin Loyd, Covington; son, Michael David Watson, Gainesville; daughter, Cresy Pendley, Madisonville, KY; grandchildren; Jeremy Allison and Brianna Allison; great grandson, Christopher Allison; sister, Alma Johnson, Tallahassee, Fl., and brother, Eddie Watson, Tallahassee, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 26, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday June 26, 2011 at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Volunteer Services at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 743 Spring Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
