Jimmy Dale Barton

Memorial Services are scheduled for 7:00pm. Tuesday June 21 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Jimmy Dale Barton age 62 of Gillsville. The Rev. Henry Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00pm to 7:00p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Barton passed away Sunday at the Atlanta VA Hospital.

Mr. Barton was born in Gainesville to the late Bose Barton and Maebell Odum Barton. He served in the U.S. Army and had worked as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his Son Jimmy Dale Barton, Brother Lloyd Leon Barton and Sister-in-law Bobbie Barton.

Survivors include Son Jimmy Allen Barton, Cleveland, Daughters, Jamie Lee, Gainesville, Janice Barton, Gainesville, Brother, Danny Barton, Cornelia, Sister Patricia Griffith, Gillsville, Special Niece, Nicole Demmy, Gainesville and 5 Grandchildren.
