Mary Joyce Roberts

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary Joyce Roberts, 90, of Gainesville. Mr. Greg Peck, Mr. Michael Roberts and Mr. Johnathon Echols will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday June 14, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

A lifetime resident of Hall County, Mrs. Roberts was born on February 13, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Howard Samuel and Julie Victoria Poole Adams. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in their business.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Waymon Roberts; son, Stanley Roberts; grandchildren, Wesley William Roberts, Shawn Roberts; sister, Clara Mae Adams; brother, Mike (MC) Adams and Verner Adams.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Faye R and Sherman Pass of Gainesville; son, Rodney Roberts of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Sandy Roberts of Gainesville and Donald and Nancy Roberts of Pendergrass; grandchildren, Sherry Smith. Wayne Roberts, Stacey Gregg, Denise Echols, Greg Peck, Carol Poole, Justin Roberts, Melissa Parton, Michael Roberts, Adam Roberts, Jared Roberts; 21 great grandchildren; special loving caregiver, Ruby Norrell and special niece, Jean Murphy of Pendergrass.
