Funeral Services for Rad Parson Mangum of Gainesville are Scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday June 11, 2011 in Ward's Funeral Home Chapel. Andrew Tymchuk will officiate. Interment will be at Alta Vista Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm Friday June 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Mr. Mangum passed away June 9, 2011 at Friendship Nursing Home. He was born in Hall County on October 12, 1929. He was the Son of the late Parson Mangum and Ola Mae Gee Mangum. He Worked for Gainesville Mill and Retired from Chicopee Manufacturing. He was a Member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Juanita Mangum, His Brothers: Tody Mangum, Harold Mangum, and Gene Mangum. Sisters: Mildred Mangum, Jonell Mangum, and Louise Bryant.
Survivors include his Son and Daughter in Law Michael and April Mangum, Gainesville. His Daughter and Son in Law Alice and Bud McNeal, Gainesville. And Tammy and Dean Carter, Oakwood. Brother Talmadge Mangum, Gainesville.
