Marie Lawson Cain

Mrs. Marie Lawson Cain, age 80, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Thursday, June 09, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow at Dewberry Baptist Church No. 2, Cleveland Highway. The Reverend Scott Strickland and Reverend Darin Cain will officiate. The family will received friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cain was born in Gainesville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Irvin L. Lawson and Bessie (Kemp) Lawson. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Lee Cain, of Clermont; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Norma Jean Cain of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Doug Faulkner of Clermont; grandson and wife, Trevor and Holly Cain; granddaughter and husband, Trisha and Dusty Hulsey; granddaughter, Tressa Cain; grandson and wife, Brad and Sarah Faulkner; great-grandson, Mason Cain; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Lawson of Cleveland; sister, Edna Gruber, of Gainesville; and a number of other family and friends also survive.
