Charles Edward "Eddie" Burruss

Memorial Services are scheduled for 4:00p.m. Wednesday June 8, 2011 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Charles Edward "Eddie" Burruss, age 68 of Gainesville. The Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. at the funeral home. Mr. Burruss passed away Monday June 6 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mr. Burruss was born in Hall County to the late Charlie Burruss and Annie Beatrice Gowder Burruss. He retired from North Hall High School where he was a teacher and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Burruss.

Survivors include Uncle and Aunt Clay and Sylvia Burruss, Gainesville, Aunt Eulene Thurmond, Oakwood, Niece Karin Burruss Chambers, Murrayville, Nephew, Kevin Burruss, Murrayville, Loving Cousins, Michael and Shelia Burruss, Linda and Allen Dockery, Melvin and Martha Burruss, Lydia Conner and a large number of cousins and other relatives.
