Verna Jean Adams

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30p.m. Sunday in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Verna Jean Adams age 78 of Gainesville. The Rev. Bradley Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow in Springway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.Mrs. Adams passed away Friday June 3 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Adams was born in Brantley County, GA to the late Felton Johns and Ollie Mae Arnold Johns. She had retired from Double D Burger and was a member of Airline Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Adams.

Survivors include Sons and Daughters-in-law Mike and Stacy Adams, Gainesville, Terry and Elaine Adams, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-law, Jackie and Tony Antill, Gainesville, 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Willing Workers Sunday School Class at Airline Baptist Church 3368 White Sulphur Road, Gainesville, GA 30501.
