Roland Douglas Hill

Mr. Roland Douglas Hill, age 77 of Homer died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Northridge Medical Center. Mr. Hill was born in Banks County to the late, John C. and Ethel Gillespie Hill Sr. Mr. Hill was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, American Legion, and a US Navy Vet. Mr. Hill retired from the DOT.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife; Wilma J. Perdue Hill of Homer, son and daughter-in-law; Clark and Doreen Hill of Commerce, three granddaughters; Emily, Maggie, and Callie Hill all of Commerce, brother-in-law; Scottie Rohwer of Spokane, WA.

Funeral service will be Friday, 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Ferguson and Rev. Don McLain officiating with the interment following at Hill Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.
