Bertha Sue Williams Wigington

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00AM on Thursday, June 2, 2001 in Memorial Park Cemetery for Bertha Sue Williams Wigington, age 99, for Gainesville. The Rev. James Rich will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Ward's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wigington passed away Monday, May 30th at Friendship Rehab Center following an extended illness. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was retired from Gainesville Mill. She was born on May 17, 1912 to the late Noah and Ruth Williams. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Namon B. Wigington and her son, Lewis B. Wigington.

Mrs. Wigington is survived by her daughter-in-law, Beverly Wigington; 2 grandchildren, Shelley Leach and Matthew Wigington; 6 great grandchildren, Nicholas and Casey Leach, Caitlyn Wigington, and Audrey, Nolan, and Autumn Thomas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
