Debbie Smith

Debbie Smith was born October 23, 1960 in Atlanta, GA to Ed and Hilda Dupree. She grew up in Sandy Springs, attending Ridgeview High School. Debbie attended Auburn University and was an active member of Alpha Gama sorority. She began a close walk with her Savior, Jesus Christ while studying at Auburn.
Debbie married Dan Smith of Athens, Ga in 1985 and they established their home in Tucker, Ga. She worked at several financial brokerage firms before starting her family. Debbie was as an active member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta and Peachtree Corners Baptist Church. She and Dan led a very vibrant young married couples' department and she served in various preschool activites.
They relocated to Cumming, Ga., where she continued to play tennis and be involved in community activites. In 1997, they became involved at Midway Community Church, a new church started in their community where Debbie served in many ways
