Hailey Rochelle Gill

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Hailey Rochelle Gill, 32, of Jefferson, Ga. who passed away Saturday May 28, 2011at Athens Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born December 12, 1978 in Decatur, Ga., Mrs. Gill is a daughter of George and Sheila Watford Gill of Statham, Georgia. Mrs. Gill was employed with Barrow County Department of Family and Children Services as a social worker. She was a member of New Community Church.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 31, 2011 at 2:00 at New Community Church, 3955 Highway 53, Hoschton, Ga. 30548, with Rev. Chris Hoffman and Dr. David Moss officiating. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, Ga. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 31, 2011 from 12:00 until 2:00 at New Community Church.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, James Michael Atwell, Jefferson, Ga. daughter, Colleen McKenzie Gill, Jefferson, Georgia and sister, Heather (Mike) Swint, Jefferson, Georgia. and numerous cousins.
