Harley "Cecil" Wilbanks

Mr. Harley "Cecil" Wilbanks, age 95 of Gainesville died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Landmark Hospital. Mr. Wilbanks was born in Commerce to the late, Charlie and Lula Vaughn Wilbanks. Mr. Wilbanks was a retired photographer and owner of Hardy Studio in Gainesville. Mr. Wilbanks was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church.

Mr. Wilbanks is survived by his wife; Stella Henderson Wilbanks of Gainesville, daughter; Carol Campbell of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law; Elaine and James Chester of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law; Harris and Ann Wilbanks of Gainesville, brother; Grady Wilbanks of Commerce, sisters; Rozelle Hanley of Commerce, Alnora Bone of Commerce, Doris Farmer of Toccoa, and Callie Mae Hanley of Commerce, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. John Kinsey officiating with the interment following at Hudson River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8PM.
