Kory Thomas Potts

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Kory Thomas Potts, 23, of Jefferson, Georgia who passed away Sunday May 22, 2011, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, after a courageous battle with Leukemia.
Kory was born August 14, 1987, in Athens, Georgia. He is a son of Jeff and Kelli Wilbanks Potts of Jefferson, Georgia. Kory was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and attended Galilee Christian Church, and was a cowboy.

Kory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Locke and Raja Potts, grandfather, Thomas Wilbanks and uncle, Hal Potts.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 5:00 P.M., at Galilee Christian Church with Minister Tom Plank officiating. Interment will be on the Potts Farm in Jefferson, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Galilee Christian Church from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M.
