William Wiley Waters

Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00p.m. Wednesday May 25, in Memorial Park Cemetery for Mr. William Wiley Water, age 82 of Gainesville. The Rev. Don Underwood will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 2:30pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Waters passed away Monday May 23 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Mr. Waters was born August 23, 1928 in Gainesville, GA to the late Clyde F. Waters and Lily Wiley Waters. He lived in Gainesville all his life where he worked as a painter. His last 30 years of employment was estate manager of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smithgall. Wiley was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Dyer Waters, Son, Jimmy Waters, Sisters, Dorothy Hulsey, Francis Ellis, Lila Whitmire and Brother Bill Waters.

Survivors include Son and Daughter-in-law, Larry and Teresa Waters, Gainesville, Granddaughters, Missy Northrop, and Angela Robertson, three great-grandchildren, Sisters, Louise White and Betty Jo Wofford, Gainesville, Sisters-in-law, Bonnelle Dyer and Faye Harrison, Brother-in-law, Joe Dyer and numerous nieces and nephews.
