Elizabeth W. St. Clair

Elizabeth W. St. Clair, age 63, of Gainesville, GA passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 from kidney failure at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. The Reverend Paul Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in Sweetenburg Hall.

Elizabeth was born in Quincy, MA, where she graduated Cum Laude from Thayer Academy. She then attended Smith College in Northampton, MA, earning her bachelor's degree in economics and then on to earn her Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University in 1972.

Elizabeth then married Bill St. Clair May 27, 1972. She worked in various bank trust departments in Boston and Worcester, MA before moving to Gainesville, GA in 1978. Elizabeth volunteered and worked at Lakeview Academy for over 20 years as Director of Technology. Liz provided vision, leadership and support for the launch of Lakeview's laptop program for grades 9
