Robert "Bob" Henry Ledford

Mr. Robert "Bob" Henry Ledford, age 66, of Gainesville, GA, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Bob was born in Canton, Georgia and was the son of the late William D. Ledford and Jewel (Williams) Ledford. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville also a charter member of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Mended Hearts Chapter 302. He moved from the Canton area and has been in Gainesville the past 22 years. He was the owner/operator of Ledford Environmental Services and Alabama Earth Products. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy T. Ledford of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Travis White, Canton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Leslie Ledford, Gadson, AL; Chris and Shelly Talton, Chattanooga, TN; son, Derrick Talton, Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Natasha Ledford, Stetson Ledford, Emily White and Abby Talton; brothers, Charles Ledford, Atlanta, GA; Jack Ledford and Jimmy Ledford both of Canton, GA; aunt, Thelma Rice-Foster, Douglas, GA; mother-in-law, Margaret Tinsley, Gainesville, GA; brother-in-law and wife, Jim and Robin Tinsley; sister-in-law and husband, Sandy and Greg Claburn; sister-in-law, Betty Pendergrass; and a number of beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive.
