Lucille Miller Sargent

Lucille Miller Sargent, 82, of Gainesville passed away Saturday May 14, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.



Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 17, 2011 at 1:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Woodall and Rev. Lamar Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday May 16, 2011 from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm, Tuesday one hour prior to funeral time at the funeral home.



Ms. Sargent was born May 11, 1929 in Gainesville to the late Clarence and Eula Greenway Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Ms. Sargent was preceded in death by her husband William Taft Sargent Sr.



Survivors include her son William Sargent Jr. of Gainesville, son Michael Sargent of Braselton, son Danny (Carol) Sargent of Gainesville, son Paul (Sherry) Sargent of Gainesville, daughter Kathy (Dexter) Stanley of Gainesville, daughter Linda (Dwight) Woodall of Gainesville, granddaughters Marsha Piper of Gainesville, Treva Boswell of Braselton, Jessica Sargent of Gainesvillle, grandsons Matthew Stanley of Gainesville, David and Stephen Woodall of Gainesville, Jonathan Sargent of Gainesville, and 4 great grandchildren.
