Paul E. Grizzle

Homecoming Celebration services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church for Mr. Paul E. Grizzle, 81 of Murrayville. Rev. Chris Gilbert, Rev. Larry Forrester, Rev. Robert Nix and Rev. Ricky Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.

Mr. Grizzle was a loving father and grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a deacon of Yellow Creek Baptist Church for 41 years.

Mr. Grizzle is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Nell Grizzle, grandson; Tyler Mayfield, son-in-law; Norris Bennett, brother; Cecil Grizzle, sisters; Edith Sims, Clarabelle Underwood and Eulene Grizzle.

He is survived by the love of his life for 61 years, June Grizzle, children; Deborah Bennett of Cumming, Donna Parrish of Gainesville, Doug and Donna Grizzle of Murrayville, Tim and Dianne Mayfield of Cumming; grandchildren, Matt and Mia Parrish, Jason and Vivian Bennett, Meagan Parrish, Jay Grizzle, Brett Grizzle, Bennett Mayfield, Katie Mayfield; great-grandchildren, Violet Parrish, Elle Parrish, Lucian Liddell-Bennett, Jules Liddell-Bennett; sister, Doris Hubbard of Gainesville; brothers, Henry Grizzle of Dahlonega, Arther Grizzle of Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews.
