George W. Harper

George W. Harper, age 82 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Autumn Breeze Assisted Living following an extended illness.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Mr. Harper was born October 14, 1928 in Walsenburg, Colorado to the late Roy Harper and Cecile Bryant Harper. He was retired from Skillin Carroll Funeral Home as a Funeral Director/Embalmer and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Harper is survived by his wife, Eileen Haney Harper of Chico, California, daughters & sons-in-laws, Leslie & Gary Pritchard of Gainesville, Lynne Harper & Bryan Swillenger of Madison, Wisconsin and Joy & Steve Bice of Bloomington, Minnesota, son & daughter-in-law, David & Connie Harper of Jacksonville, Florida, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
