Mardell Perry Davis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mardell Perry Davis. age 77, of Talmo, who passed away on May 12, 2011. Mrs. Davis was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late Eugene and Ina Ivey Perry. Mrs. Davis was retired fro the McEver Packing Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Her grandson, Christopher Lee Presley, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Davis, Talmo, daughters, Shelia D. Brewer, Flowery Branch and Sharon D. and Richard Presley of Maysville, sisters, Avis Coker, California, Margaret Tinsley, Oakwood, Jean Ward, Gainesville, Linda Sexton, Jefferson, Judy Williams, North Carolina, brothers, Walter Perry, Sanford, NC, Kesler Perry, Commerce, Ralph Perry, Jefferson, Talmadge Perry, Toccoa, Tommy Perry, Athens, 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Stowe officiating. The visitation will be held until 9:00PM in the funeral home, after the service. A private family burial service in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery, will take place on a later date.
