Gertrude Whitt Holbrook

Gertrude Whitt Holbrook, 93, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She was a native Forsyth County. She was preceded in death by her husband John Holbrook.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Sue and James Tribble and Sara McDaniel of Cumming, Kenneth and Myra McDaniel of Buford, Shirley and Jerry Hughes of Cumming, Jo and Dale Jansen of Tempe, AZ, Harold and Judy Whitt of Gillsville, Jean Harris and Ralph Whitt of Gainesville. Sisters-in-law Louise Holbrook of Cumming, Nell Holbrook of Gainesville, and Hazel Holbrook of Tucker. Other nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Deborah Griffith and the Rev. Dave Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Bethelview United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service.
