Rachel Mae Jackson

Rachel Mae Jackson, age 69, of Winder, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. She was a member of Cumming Second Baptist Church. Rachel is preceded in death by her mother, Effie Garner and her brother, Charles Edwards.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Frankie Jackson of Buford; father, Bonny Garner of Cumming, son, Johnnie Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Mike Conner; son, Ricky Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and George Pickett; daughter, Joanne Jackson and daughter, Pam Jackson all of Buford; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nelson and Harriett Garner, David Garner, Wayne Garner, Kenneth and Linda Garner all of Cumming; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and Franklin Samples of Buford, Donnie Edwards of Cumming, Susie and Horace of Cumming; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the chapel in Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home.
