Larry Virgil Beacham

Larry Virgil Beacham, age 65 of Buford, GA, passed away when Jesus called him home on Thursday, May 5, 2011 after a long courageous battle with COPD. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Dr. Jim Ferguson and Rev. Eddie Bailey will officiate. Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-9 PM and Sunday from 10AM-9PM.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Leon Beacham. He is survived by his loving Wife of 36 years, Jackie Reed Beacham; Daughters & Sons In-Law, Lynette & Steve Thomas, Lorette & Michael Thompson, Buford. Son & Daughter In-Law, Derek & Crystal Beacham, Statham. Grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Lawrenceville, Amber Thomas & Ethan Thompson, Buford, Rhiannon Beacham, Statham. Mother, Agnes Williams Beacham, Buford. Sister & Brother In-Law, Linda & Dan Reed, Buford. Nieces, Danalyn & (Bill) Reckner, Hoschton, Beth Reed & Tiffany Reed, Atlanta; Brother In-Law & Sister In-Law, Scott & Silvia Reed, Flowery Branch. Several Aunts and Cousins.
Larry was born June 25, 1945 in Flowery Branch, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and attended Ivy Creek Baptist Church. Larry was retired from Eastman Kodak Company and most recently He and Jackie owned and operated Larry's Biscuits which became a gathering place for many family, friends and neighbors.
