Royce Junior Adkins

Royce Junior Adkins, 81, of Maysville, GA went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2011. Born in Lawrenceburg, TN he was the son of the late Elbert and Edith Adkins. His son, Roger Adkins also predeceased him.

Royce is survived by his beloved wife, Inez Adkins of Maysville, GA; children, Ronnie (Connie) Adkins of Cumming, GA and Elaine (Patrick) Ewalt of Maysville, GA; stepsons, Bobby Bennett of Oxford, GA and Steve Bennett of Cornelia, GA; brothers, M.C. Adkins of Cumming, GA and Durrell Adkins of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Melba Wells of Ellijay, GA and Inez Mills of Conyers, GA; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Lighthouse Congregational Holiness Church in Commerce, GA. The Rev. Winifred Bingham and the Rev. Jerry Hewatt will officiate. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6 from Noon
