Ann "Nanny" Meaders Clark

The Lord added one more angel to Heaven when he called Ann "Nanny" Meaders Clark, age 83 of Gainesville, Georgia, home on April 30, 20ll. Ann was born on April 2, 1928, in Cleveland, Georgia, to Arie and Cheever Meaders. She was one of eight children born to a family of North Georgia potters and farmers. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Gainesville , Georgia . Ann is preceded in death by her husband Fred Brice Clark and her parents, Cheever and Arie Waldroop Meaders; one sister and three brothers. The Lord blessed Ann with two daughters: Connie Fraser and Deborah Holland; four grandchildren: Michael Fraser, Tony Plott, Angela Fraser, and Jeffery Holland; four great-grandchildren: Alexis Grizzle, Molly Plott, Jonah Plott, and Isabelle Plott; two sisters: Altha Loggins and Ruby Irvin and one brother: Edwin Meaders all of Cleveland , Georgia .

During her time on Earth, Ann touched countless lives through her family, friends, church, and personal acts of charity and testimony. She enjoyed gospel music, Atlanta Braves baseball, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 2, 2011 3:30 P.M. at Dewberry Baptist Church No. 2

On Cleveland Hwy. Family will receive friend at the funeral home on Sunday May 1, 2011 from
2 till 4 pm and 5 till 8 pm.
