James A. Pirkle, Sr., age 78 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
