Michael Neal Hall, 60, of Roswell, Georgia died Friday, April 22, 2011.

Mike was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 18, 1950 to the late Donald and Gloria Sutton Hall. At the age of 9, he moved to Atlanta where he graduated from Lakeside High School in 1968. Mike attended Georgia Southern University where he was a charter member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He later attended Mercer Atlanta where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Finance. He went on to earn an MBA at Georgia State University. In 1971 he married Amanda Parramore Walker of Thomasville, Georgia.

Mike is survived by his wife, Amanda; daughter and son-in-law, Ray and Meghan Hall Erlacher, and grandchildren Sutton and Maggie Erlacher. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Nelson and Cheryl Hall Jones; niece, Melanie Jones Sotomayor (Justin); nephews, Stuart Jones (Katherine), Scott Jones; sisters- and brothers-in-law Travis and Margaret Walker Weatherly, Joe and Donna Walker Harvard; other nieces and nephews, Trey and Kara Weatherly, Robert and Natalie Braswell, Jay and Susan Harvard, Cullen and Cathy Harvard; great nieces and nephews.

Mike was employed and retired from Bell South, where he was a Director of Segment Marketing. He later worked for Numerex, where he was currently served as Senior Director of Network Services.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother; he spent most of the time away from work with his family. He was an avid reader, enjoyed woodworking, movies and listening to music. Mike was an adventurer that loved to travel to see new things and enjoy exciting experiences.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials be made to FOCUS, a nonprofit organization that provides emotional, informational and physical support to families of children with disabilities or ongoing medical conditions. A visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 25, at the Hall residence in Roswell. The Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at First Presbyterian Chapel of Roswell.
